What You Must Understand When Coaching in the Four-Generation Workplace

Presented by Judy Feld, MCC, 2003 ICF President; Executive Coach; Faculty member of the Executive and Professional Coaching Program in the School of Management at UT-Dallas.
For the first time we now have four generations in the workplace. This diversity presents challenges to leaders, managers and their coaches. A coach must understand generational differences in order to better understand a client’s interactions, issues, styles, experiences and preferences.
This diversity presents new opportunities to coaches in the form of research, writing, speaking, teaching, pilot programs, group and individual coaching – and new learning for the coach.
Join Judy as she discusses:
- The impact of differing communication styles
- Pitfalls in inter-generational professional and personal communications
- How to enhance cross-generational communication
- Challenges of leadership, management and team development that pertain to each generation
About the Presenter:
 Judy Feld is an executive coach with a highly regarded reputation worldwide. She was founding editor/publisher of the Coaching News, the E-newsletter for the ICF and served on the Board of Directors since 1997. She is an ICF Master Certified Coach--one of the first 20 coaches to receive that designation. She coaches executives, entrepreneurs, managers, and business teams all over the world, with extensive experience in career, change, leadership and communications coaching for professionals at all levels. Judy also serves on the faculty at the University of Texas at Dallas, leading the supervised coaching program, and managing faculty training and credentialing.
