Reaching Out and Inspiring Forward
GCA Community Service 2008 MISSION & VALUES STATEMENT:
1. To build a solid FOUNDATION which provides sustained growth for GCA Community Service department
2. To create AWARENESS about the benefits of Pro-bono or Scholarship coaching to our members.
3. To ENCOURAGE our members to become involved within GCA community.
4. To ACKNOWLEDGE & REWARD our members for the time they have given to others in the form of Pro-bono and/or Scholarship coaching
GCA 2008 VISION STATMENT:
SEND IN YOUR Pro-bono & Scholarship coaching HOURS!!
Calling ALL GCA members!! This year, we are asking ALL members to send in time spent providing Pro-bono or Scholarship coaching to clients.
What is “Scholarship” coaching? Say your typical rate per client is $100 per hour. Scholarship coaching is when you charge a reduced rate, i.e. $50 per hour vs. $100 per hour because this better suites the needs of the client.
It is our hope to accumulate 500 hours of Pro-bono or Scholarship coaching to others for 2008!!!!
What do you get in return??
Each member who submits their hours will receive a Georgia Coaches Association Certificate –Acknowledging YOU for your efforts!!!
In addition, each quarter, the Community Service Committee will choose the winner of Georgia Coaches Association Service Star Award! The winner of this very prestigious award will receive a beautiful gift from Georgia Coaches Association and be posted in our Newsletter and website.
The GCA Service Star Award will be given each quarter and a final winner for 2008 will be chosen at the end of the year.
